Stepping Out Hauraki provides a range of services to encourage ongoing mental health wellbeing, including: Peer / Staff Support and Advocacy Referral for family/whānau to other services appropriate for support Referral and resources to and about other agencies Monthly newsletter and event calendar Opportunities to contribute to consumer meetings and daily running of the centre A range of daily peer lead educational workshops, activities and training programmes Up to date computer training with ongoing assistance in digital media Arts and other crafts as recovery tools Socialisation with opportunities for subsidised field trips A chance for personal growth through volunteer work and tailored training within the service

Whangamatā Peer Support Group meets on the first Friday of every month at 10.30am for peer support and socialisation. Location: Cornerstone House Ocean Road Whangamatā
