Turanga Health has a team of Mental Health Kaiāwhina providing practical and social support for people in the community with mental health problems. Clients that have been referred from Community Mental Health and NASC are provided with wraparound services within the organisation and also assistance in external referrals to community support. Mental health kaimahi are able to assist with shopping, accessing housing, ensuring Work and Income benefits are up to date, help getting to medical appointments, and where possible sorting out options for employment or tertiary training. Mental health kaimahi visit whānau in their home and also help tangata whaiora with exercise and nutrition.

Community Action on Youth and Drugs provides assistance, resources, information and access for communities to set up programmes or projects to address the drug problems within that community. Schools, marae, and sporting groups, are the types of organisations we can work with. If they have identified a problem with drugs in their community then we can help create the steps they need towards addressing the problem.
