Referral Process
The Centre currently operates from a waitlist.
We are in midst of changing our referral pathways which, as of January 2021 are largely through GPs and contracting agencies (WDHB, ACC, etc). There are some things that referrers and potential clients need to be aware of:
- Client work at the Centre is undertaken by Qualified Staff and Intern Psychologist students, under supervision
- Our Interns are closely supervised. One way that we do this is to videotape some clinical sessions, with the client's consent
- In common with other health service providers, we are required to supply data about our work to the Ministry of Health and the Waikato DHB.
