The service involves individual and group support, brief interventions, and information on how to access community resources and services. Vaka Tautua offers a mental health community support service, underpinned by the POPAO model (a Pacific recovery and strength concept) that is pivotal to the recovery of service users by empowering them through their journey towards recovery. Service users are supported in their recovery and assisted to navigate their way through other support agencies in order to address specific needs. The team works alongside your family and others in your support network.
