We provide education about mental health illnesses, how to support your loved one, and how to look after yourself.
We help families/whānau navigate the health system and advocate for themselves and their loved one.

All our services are free and completely confidential.

Hours

Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

However, it is best to phone for an appointment. Family workers cover a large area and may not be available at the offices at all times.

One evening a week, family workers are available by appointment.

Yellow Brick Road offers free mental health and addiction support to family whānau supporting a loved one with mental illness. Our service provides education, information, advocacy, workshops, support groups, face to face / telephone support, a website, as well as supporting workforce development. Note we have a Family Facilitator who works within the Henry Rongomau Bennett Inpatient Unit at the Waikato Hospital. This staff member can be contacted on our 0800 555 434.
