Quitline can successfully help people quit smoking or quit vaping. We have programmes specifically to support Māori tānata whai ora / people seeking wellness and also pregnant women. Our services are all free. People who smoke - or vape - can access Quitline support via telephone, text , webchat or online. We help clients to understand the three parts of their smoking addiction - chemical, emotional and habitual - and formulate strategies for beating these. To combat the chemical part of the addiction we provide subsidised nicotine patches, gum and lozenges.
