Covid-19 testing

RATs - Community Collection Site - Anyone can access

Rapid antigen tests (RATs) can be collected at this site. Pre-ordering is not required.

Provides free face masks

This site offers free face masks when people are collecting RATs (subject to availability).

Description

Open 8am - 10pm, 7 days a week. Most prescriptions and pharmaceuticals are immediately available. A wide range of over-the-counter medicines are also available.

Prescriptions for under 14 Years old are free 

 

Pharmacists can help to support the health of your family; they can provide advice and treatment for common minor illnesses for all ages.

Pharmacists ensure that prescriptions are dispensed correctly and that the medicine and dose is appropriate for you, so that you receive the maximum benefits from your medicines. Your pharmacist will help you understand what your medicines are prescribed for, how to take them, possible side effects and how to store them.

All advice and treatment is conducted in a professional and confidential manner and most services are provided free of charge and do not generally require an appointment.

For safe disposal, please return any expired or unwanted medicines, or needles/lancets and syringes to your pharmacy. There is no charge for this service.

Additional Pharmacy Fees

 Some of the prescription services we provide are not funded, or are not fully funded, by your District Health Board (DHB). This list is not exhaustive. Other services not listed may incur a charge.

  • After Hours Fee (for over 13 years old)

$2 per prescription item

After 5pm (Monday to Friday) & 8am – 10pm for both Saturday and Sunday

  • Public Holiday Surcharge Fee (for over 13 years old)

$4 per prescription item

8am – 10pm on Public Holidays

 

FREE for 0-13 years (Fully funded items)

NO Print out fee

NO FAX prescription fee

NO Re-Processing fee

NO WINZ check fee
