Rheumatic fever prevention/throat swabbing

Our pharmacy has accredited staff who are qualified to do throat swabbing to test for rheumatic fever for all eligible patients who present with a sore throat.  The pharmacists may supply antibiotics and will give you further counselling on the process after testing.
