Smoking cessation

Pharmacy staff are trained to provide a service to help people to stop smoking. This service includes advice and providing quit smoking support aids e.g. nicotine gum.

We provide FREE initial consultation for people to quit smoking, provision of NRT (via Pharmac schedule) and option to refer onto PHO Smoking Cessation co-ordinator.

This means patches, gum and lozenges all FREE of charge!
