Routine Antenatal Anti-D Prophylaxis
Routine Antenatal Anti-D prophylaxis is available to pregnant women who have a rhesus negative blood group at 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. Anti-D immunoglobulin is a blood product administered in two doses at a pharmacy after a consent process is undertaken with your midwife.
Your midwife or LMC will talk you through the process.
