Pharmacy staff are trained to provide a service to help people to stop smoking. This service includes advice and providing quit smoking support aids e.g. nicotine gum.

We can initiate and manage NRT using funded NRT therapies.

We advise on how to take these medicines to ensure you know how to maximise success, what to expect, and strategies to assist.

We will advise on how to take any anti-smoking medicines irrespective of prescriber to ensure you know how to maximise success, what to expect, and strategies to assist.

We may also discuss alternative anti-smoking prescription medicines if current therapy is not agreeing with you.

We will refer you to your medical practitioner for review and possible alternative therapy if it is likely another solution may assist better in your journey to stop smoking.
