As well as consulting suites for our current eight specialists, we have onsite audiology services through New Zealand Hearing. Our dedicated and experienced ear nurse Wendy Dixon, offers proffesional wax removal using state of the art tools, including a Zeiss operating microscope with video and high powered suction. What is Otolaryngology?
Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery [also known as Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT)], is the area of medicine concerned with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, the head and the neck.
Otolaryngologists (or ENT Surgeons) are specialist surgeons who deal with medical and surgical treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and structures of the head and neck. They are also experts in the management of sleep disorders, breathing (snoring and OSA), management of voice disorders etc.
