Originally born in the windy capital city, Wellington, Zach later moved to Auckland to undertake his post graduate study in medicine. Upon graduating, he worked primarily at Middlemore Hospital before moving on to Advanced training with the Australasian College of Phlebologists over 3 years.
Zach’s special interests lie within the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins and venous disease. He particularly specialises in direct microsclerotherapy of spider veins, ultrasound guided sclerotherapy (UGS) and endovenous thermal ablation (EVLA/RFA) of varicose veins.
Zach is keenly invested in the great outdoors and most weekends are spent with his wife and three children enjoying fun at the local parks and beaches on offer in New Zealand. An ultra-marathon runner, Zach enjoys keeping fit and also loves swimming in the Auckland sea, all year round.
