Profile

Dr Ammar Binsadiq is a New Zealand trained ophthalmologist and has completed sub-specialty training in medical retinal, cataract and vitreoretinal surgery.
Ammar provides comprehensive ophthalmology care and specialises in retinal conditions such as diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration, with special interest in uveitis (ocular inflammation). As a surgeon he is able to address diseases that affect the retina and macula such as retinal detachment, epiretinal membranes, macular holes and diabetic retinopathy as well as complex cataract surgeries and secondary lens implantation.
