Profile

As one of Pacific Radiology's radiologists, Dr Ben Wilkinson has 17 years’ experience in radiology, delivering exceptional care to all patients. Ben's subspecialty interests include musculoskeletal imaging, especially MRI, abdominal imaging and oncology imaging. He graduated from Auckland University School of Medicine in 2000, initially working as a house officer for the Auckland District Health Board. He went on to complete his radiology training at Christchurch Hospital, being admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2008.
 
Ben also completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Christchurch Hospital in 2008 and a subsequent musculoskeletal MRI imaging fellowship at Pacific Radiology (formerly Christchurch Radiology Group) in 2009. He began working as a consultant radiologist at Canterbury District Health Board and as a radiologist at Pacific Radiology in 2010, before joining Pacific Radiology full time in 2012.
