Dr William "Bill" Viner is a Board certified Gynaecologist in New Plymouth with experience since completing training in 1999.  He specialises in medical and surgical treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, bleeding and pain related to adenomyosis/endometriosis/fibroids/polyps, benign and pre-cancerous lesions of the cervix/uterus/ovaries, diseases of the vulva, fertility evaluation, PCOS, etc.

William has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Taranaki District Health Board since 2011. He graduated from Louisiana State University Medical College in New Orleans in 1995 and trained in O&G at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas from 1995 to 1999. He then worked in rural Kentucky for 12 years in a group private practice setting providing primary care services for women of all ages, routine and high risk pregnancy care, and gynaecologic surgery.

William and wife Barb have been together since 1992 and have 6 children. They enjoy the outdoors, raising animals on their lifestyle block and traveling.
