Dr Caitlin Prendergast is a consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician who is proud to have returned to Northland to care for the community that helped shape her. Born and raised in the region, she brings a deep understanding of the local population and a strong commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care.

 

Dr Prendergast is passionate about advocating for equitable access to high-quality gynaecological services, particularly for women in both urban and rural communities. An experienced colposcopist and surgeon, Dr Prendergast has a special interest in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Her approach focuses on offering effective treatment options that support faster recovery, reduced discomfort, and improved long-term outcomes.
