Profile

Dr Louise Reiche is a vocationally registered dermatologist working full time, in Palmerston North, and a member of the New Zealand Dermatological Society Inc (NZSDI).

Louise founded and is now Chairperson for the NZ Dermatology Research Trust, and member of Melnet, Melanoma NZ, and voluntarily assists the NZ Cancer Society (e.g. Vitamin D working group, Sunbed and Skin cancer avoidance), and other volunteer groups for the long-term benefit of all New Zealanders. ​

Interests

In addition to general dermatology, and eczema, Louise has a special interest in monitoring high risk skin cancer and melanoma patients and has been passionate in raising patient, local and general population education levels on skin cancer prevention.

She likes to empower patients to care for their own skin through education and holistic life style advice so to be less reliant on medication long term and to reduce carbon foot print.
