Profile

Matt completed undergraduate medical training at the University of Auckland in 2009, and undertook radiology training in both Tauranga and Auckland, New Zealand, being awarded FRANZCR in 2016.  

He completed a breast imaging fellowship with BreastScreen Aotearoa NZ in 2016, and a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship in 2017 in Perth, Australia. He has worked at Bay Radiology since returning to New Zealand in 2019.

Matt also works part time in the public sector, where he is head of radiology at Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals.

Matt has subspecialty interests in musculoskeletal, spine and breast imaging and intervention.
