Melanie has been a Consultant Radiologist at Middlemore Hospital since 2004 and in private practice since 2011.

Melanie’s main area of clinical interest is breast cancer, and she is involved in both screening and high-risk settings. She is on the Medical Advisory Committee for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation and has audited breast units for IANZ. She is also Clinical Lead at BreastScreen Counties Manukau. Her other interests include musculoskeletal imaging as well as oncology imaging, having undertaken training in PET CT.

At all other times the on-call radiographer or radiologist can be contacted through the White Cross Accident and Medical Clinic at Ascot Hospital.
