Profile

Puja is a Consultant Radiologist who has a career in radiology spanning over 37 years, having worked in India, Britian and then New Zealand since 1996. Until recently, Puja worked at both Auckland City Hospital (ACH) and Allevia Radiology and now works full time at Allevia Radiology. She was awarded the fellowship of RANZCR in 1996 after which she undertook a visiting fellowship in Oncology at Royal Marsden Hospital in London in 2003 and later, one in PET-CT at Essen University in Germany in 2010. Her main interest is in Oncology imaging with a special focus in body MRI, especially rectal and prostate MRI. Puja has been involved in the training of medical students and radiology registrars during her time at ACH and now focuses on the training of Radiology Fellows and supporting junior consultants at Allevia Radiology.

Specialising in: Oncologic Imaging.

Puja's main interest is in oncology imaging, with a special interest in body MRI, especially rectal and prostate MRI.
