Profile
Riki is a New Zealand born and trained Gynaecologist, with an undergraduate Bachelor of Human Biology degree from University of Auckland and Medical Degree from University of Otago. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG).
She is passionate about providing personalised, patient centred care with a holistic focus. She is known for her sensitive approach and open communication. She has over 20 years’ experience working in Women’s Health, in a number of New Zealand Hospitals. She is also an honorary lecturer at the University of Otago School of Medicine and actively involved in medical student teaching, and examining doctors undertaking the post graduate Diploma of Obstetrics.
Having navigated the journey of a gynaecological cancer herself, she is well aware of the vulnerability and issues encountered as a consumer of gynaecological services.
