Profile

David graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 2000.  He received his specialist qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the New Zealand Orthopaedic Association in 2009.

Post-Fellowship Training

David spent 2 years in Canada completing fellowships in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction and Sport Medicine at the London Health Sciences Centre and the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic, London, Ontario.

He was the fellow physician for the University of Western Ontario Mustangs football team. With an interest in the young adult with hip pain, he then travelled to Switzerland and completed a fellowship in Hip Preservation and Reconstruction, including hip arthroscopy, at the Schulthess Klinik, Zurich.
