Janindra Warusavitarne is an internationally renowned colorectal surgeon and has written many papers and book chapters on the subjects of his interest and delivered over one hundred international and national lectures on the topics.

Janindra is considered a key opinion leader and innovator and has been involved in many new procedures such as video assisted fistula treatment and laser treatment for haemorrhoids and anal fistula.

Janindra is an expert in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and has performed many such procedures using both standard laparoscopic techniques as well as single port surgery which allows for minimal scarring.
