Profile

Mr Otis Shirley is a New Zealand trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the surgical management of adult and paediatric spine conditions. After completing his Orthopaedic training in New Zealand, Otis was the recipient of the presidents award for best trainee. He then undertook a spine fellowship at Auckland City Hospital before moving to Canada for a year. In Vancouver he completed a paediatric spine fellowship at British Columbia Children’s hospital which included experience in vertebral body tethering. As well as his private practice at Eastwood Orthopaedic Clinic, Otis holds consultant surgeon posts at both Starship and Auckland City Hospitals
