Michael J Mackey MBChB, DipObst, FRACS  is one of New Zealand's top Urologic Surgeons and is Auckland's most experienced Robotic Surgeon.

Michael consults at both the Northern Clinic Glenfield, Auckland and Ascot Central, Remuera, Auckland. 

As Michael works exclusively in the private sector and with weekly theatre lists, he is able to provide expedited care for those who require fast action for relief of their symptoms. 

Michael is passionate about performing minimally invasive surgical options with state-of-the-art technology.  He has performed over 900 Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy surgeries and over 6000 Laser prostate resection surgeries, which makes him Auckland's most experienced prostate surgeon.

These methods allow for faster recovery times and reduction of surgical side effects, in comparison with open surgery options.  

Mike is a Southern Cross Affiliated Provider and all of his consultations, in-room procedures, and many of the surgeries that he provides are covered, allowing these patients to not have out of pocket costs.
