Prof Harvey White

MB ChB 1973 Otago; FRACP 1980

Professor White is Director of Coronary Care and Cardiovascular Research at the Green Lane Cardiovascular Service, Auckland City Hospital, Auckland and the John Neutze Scholar. He is an Honorary Clinical Professor, University of Auckland and Chairman of the Specialist Council of the New Zealand Medical Association. He trained at Green Lane Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston.
He was President of the Cardiac Society of Australia and NZ. He is a Matai in Samoa.
His special interests are the management of patients with heart attacks and patients with cholesterol disorders. He is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
