Our physiotherapy services are aimed at providing patients with the knowledge and skills to improve and manage their own health. We have an enthusiastic and dedicated team of 50 qualified physiotherapists to provide this service. They are assisted by nine healthcare assistants.
Physiotherapy services are provided across a variety of sites and settings in Counties Manukau DHB. They span Allied Health, the Spinal Rehabilitation Unit, AT&R Unit, Kidz First Child Development Service, and community teams from Howick to Pukekohe, encompassing approximately 60 staff.
The Physiotherapy Department works in conjunction with the AUT School of Physiotherapy in providing clinical education to undergraduate physiotherapy students.
