Description
BreastScreen Auckland Central is part of BreastScreen Aotearoa, the national breast screening programme for women aged 45 - 69 years.
You can have a free mammogram (breast screen) every two years if:
- You are aged 45 to 69 years of age
- You have no symptoms of breast cancer
- You have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months
- You are not pregnant
- You are eligible for public health services in New Zealand

Our aim is to ensure your mammogram is as easy and comfortable as possible:
- Free mammograms take 20-30 minutes
- You choose when and where you have your mammogram
- Our female staff are respectful, friendly and understanding
- We have late nights and Saturday appointments
- You can bring a support person
- We can arrange a free interpreter for you

We are closed for screening from 23th December 2023 till the 3rd January 2024.
- Screening at the fixed site will resume on 3 Jan 2024.
- Screening on the mobile will resume on 8 Jan 2024.
If you have any concerns with your Breast Health please contact your GP who will assist you.
