Southern Community Laboratory provides a 24 hour cover for Ōamaru Hospital.
Procedures carried out are: routine blood tests, cholesterol and lipid tests and specialist tests.
Collection of specimens and delivery of results to Ōamaru general practitioners are carried out three times a day.
