Description

Who Are We

We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of a clinical nurse manager, nurses, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, social workers, psychiatrists and manawa pou for cultural support.

What Do We Do

We provide and offer:

  • Clinical assessment and treatment for a range of mental health and addiction conditions
  • Cognitive assessment and psychometric testing
  • Talking therapies and/or prescribed medicine/s that will assist you in your recovery
  • Consultation and liaison services to primary care providers and other agencies

Who Do We See

We usually see people aged 19 - 65 however where there is concerns for those individuals outside the usual age range we can be consulted to determine appropriate service.

We can see you:

  • At our clinic
  • In your home
  • In hospital
  • At your GP's clinic/surgery
  • In a residential or community setting

What Happens When We See You

When a referral is received we will:

  • Make contact with you to arrange an appointment with one of our clinicians
  • Work in partnership with you and your family/whānau and/or significant others on a plan of care to support you in your recovery
  • Coordinate education and support for you and your family/whānau and/or significant others
  • Work in collaboration with other services to help meet your needs
