Referral Process

Clients can self-refer or can be referred by a medical practitioner or by other alcohol and drug services. When referred, clients are offered an appointment within 2 weeks.

Description

This is a specialist service focused on reducing the harms of Opioid Dependence (uncontrolled addiction to morphine, oxycodone, methadone, codeine, etc). The service is part of Lakes DHB Mental Health and Addiction Services.

It is based in Rotorua with satellite clinics covering Taupō, Tūrangi and Mangakino.
