Our teams provide support for adults experiencing mental health issues, including expectant mothers.
Southern DHB Adult Community Mental Health Services are provided by the following teams:
- Central Lakes Community Mental Health Team operates out of 19 Douglas Street, Frankton and Hospital Street, Clyde
- Dunedin North Community Mental Health Team operates out of Dunedin Hospital
- Dunedin South Community Mental Health Team operates out of Wakari Hospital
- Invercargill Community Mental Health Team operates out of Southland Hospital
- Southern Rivers Community Mental Health Team operates out of 24 Clyde Street, Balclutha and 16 Irwell Street, Gore

Fees and Charges Description
There are no fees for services to public patients if you are lawfully in New Zealand and meet one of the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be required to pay for the full cost of any medical treatment you recieve during your stay.

- Individuals aged 18 - 30 years experiencing their first episode of psychosis
- Individuals under 18 years experiencing their first episode of psychosis and it has been agreed with Youth Specialty Service that EIPS is the most appropriate service for them
- Woman of any age experiencing psychosis associated with pregnancy or birth, and first episode of psychosis.
