At Birthcare Auckland we offer a beautiful, calm and supportive space for you to birth and care for your baby.

We have a range of comfortable postnatal rooms to suit your needs. From our shared rooms through to our premium double bed ensuites, our postnatal suite offers you the comforts of home with the expertise of clinical staff available 24 hours a day.

Labour and Birth at Birthcare
Birthcare is a fantastic option for your labour and birth if you and your baby are well in your pregnancy. It is an alternative option from birthing at our local public hospital.

Antenatal and Postnatal Education Classes
We provide education classes for parents during their pregnancy and after. From preparation to breastfeeding right through to infant CPR classes, our education courses will help you prepare for your parenthood journey. View our classes here.

Referral Expectations

Please contact us or book online to book your postnatal stay with us. Speak with your Lead Maternity Carer (LMC) about booking to birth at Birthcare.

Fees and Charges Description

We have a range of beautiful rooms available for our mums during and after birth. Visit our website for our costs.

Check your medical insurance as your policy may contribute towards a private room in Birthcare. You will need to pay upfront and claim back from your insurance company.

Parking

Auckland
Underground parking is available for visitors. Please use the park side entry and, once parked, take the lift to level 2. If you have an antenatal clinic appointment, take the big lift to Level 3. Our birthing suite is on Level 1.

If the car park is full, we have some parking outside the building, otherwise there is 'pay and display' parking on Titoki Street.

If the parking is full when you arrive to be admitted, there is a 15 min drop off parking in the basement and a wheelchair parking outside the front of the building which you are welcome to use.

After hours you may enter the car park via the ramp by pressing the button and speaking to a staff member. There is also an after hours button at the main entrance on the ground floor.

Ample parking is available around the perimeter of the facility.
