Description
The Triage Service provides a single point of entry for non-urgent referrals to adult mental health services.
Staff
All Te Whatu Ora Mental Health and Addiction Services have a multidisciplinary team (MDT) of health professionals who work together with the service user and their family to ensure they receive integrated care to help with their recovery and discharge.
Te Whatu Ora has kaumātua and kuia available to provide cultural support to patients/service users/tangata whaiora and their whānau, if required.

There are no fees for services to public patients if you are lawfully in New Zealand and meet one of the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be required to pay for the full cost of any medical treatment you receive during your stay.
