Description
Consumers are the past, the present and the future of Southern DHB Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Services. To ensure consumer and family, whānau participation in the development and quality improvement of service delivery, Southern DHB has Adult Consumer Advisors, Youth Advisors, and Family Advisors based in Southland and Dunedin.
The Adult Consumer Advisor, Youth Advisor and Family Advisor roles are part of the service leadership advising management and they do not provide individual advocacy or support.

Fees and Charges Description
There are no fees for services to public patients if you are lawfully in New Zealand and meet one of the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be required to pay for the full cost of any medical treatment you recieve during your stay.
