Andrew trained in Cardiology at Tauranga, Middlemore, and Auckland Hospitals. He subsequently underwent sub-speciality training in Pacing and Electrophysiology at Auckland Hospital, and then Freeman Hospital, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. His sub-speciality interests relate to arrhythmia management, including catheter ablation and cardiac implantable electronic devices.
