Stephanie is from Germany and joined the Urology Team at ASRU in 2022.  She is dual fellowship trained in neuro-functional reconstructive and padiatric urology after spending time in London, UK and Melbourne, Australia prior to moving to New Zealand.
She has a special interest in transition urology and neuro-urology.  Her goal is to enable patients recovering from spinal cord injury to achieve autonomous management of their bladders and promote long-term urinary tract health providing better quality of life and performance especially for para athletes.
She is involved in teaching and aims to raise awareness for the needs of this vulnerable group of patients.
She also works closely with paediatric surgeons to promote transition urology and prioritise care of patients with congenital conditions to help them navigate their health issues as they become adults and leave long term paediatric care.
