Dr. Sepulveda, an HPB and Liver Transplant surgeon, brings a wealth of global experience to his practice, with over 18 years of professional experience in Brazil and France.
His journey began with graduation and surgical training in Salvador/Brazil, followed by a move to Sao Paulo for specialized training in HPB and Liver Transplant Surgery.
In 2008, he furthered his expertise in Paris, completing a fellowship in HPB and Liver Transplant, with a particular focus on minimally invasive surgery. His international expertise is underscored by his ten-year tenure as a senior consultant at Beaujon Hospital, a commitment that continues as he joins the New Zealand Liver Transplant Unit in September 2024.

Liver Outpatient Clinics are held on Level 6, Support Building, Auckland City Hospital and at Greenlane Clinical Centre. Patients are advised to check their appointment letters for venue.
Fibroscans
Fibroscans are performed at the Patient Management Services Outpatient Clinic, Level 4, Support Building (Building 1), Auckland City Hospital. They require a referral from a medical practitioner (a specialist or GP) who should send the referral via the Care Connect portal or to the Central Referrals Office on centralreferrals@adhb.govt.nz.
Immigration Fibroscans
Fibroscans are available for non-residents. They cost $269.45 (including GST). Payment must be made prior to the Fibroscan by visiting the Cashier's Office, behind the Level 5 Reception Desk at Auckland City Hospital, just prior to the Fibroscan appointment. Immigration Fibroscans require a referral from a medical practitioner (GP or specialist) who should send the referral via the Care Connect portal or to the Central Referrals Office on centralreferrals@adhb.govt.nz
