I am a New Zealand trained Consultant General Surgeon. I have completed fellowships in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Liver Transplantation, and Trauma Surgery in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I have a public appointment at Dunedin Public Hospital, where most of my elective cases include Liver and Pancreatic Surgery, complex Biliary Surgery, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy and Laparoscopic and open hernia repair. I also perform Emergency General and Trauma Surgery, and I am the clinical co-director for Trauma at Dunedin Hospital. I am a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Otago Medical School.
