The Louise Nicholas Trust

Description

The Louise Nicholas Trust and her National Sexual Violence Survivor Advocate team provide support and advocacy for survivors of sexual violence and help navigate court and social services.

They help:

  • survivors navigate New Zealand's complicated court and social services system, when survivors feel vulnerable and hurt
  • influence and change the system through legislation and government policy, and by changing community attitudes.

Louise and her team are trusted, neutral, fearless people who have experienced sexual violence. They are funded by the Ministry of Justice and ACC.
