24/7 free and confidential crisis support services for survivors, family/whānau who have been affected, directly or indirectly, by rape or sexual abuse.

Age: Children, Youth and Adults. We support Parents/Caregivers of children under 13 years.

Description:

Wairarapa Rape and Sexual Abuse Collective provides specialist 24-hour confidential crisis support and information to anyone who has been affected by sexual harm, recent or historic, including their whānau/families and friends.  Our professional assistance and support is culturally appropriate and non-judgemental.  

We also provide:

  • Social Work and crisis support - on-going support to meet clients' needs
  • Advocacy and referral services - assistance with medical processes, court, Police and referring to appropriate agencies
  • Prevention and awareness education to schools for children aged 13-17 years
