Geek Camp - Free School Holiday Programme

Geek Camps engage local school children in FREE local holiday STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Mātauranga) workshops.

Hosted at Accelerating Aotearoa's base We o Tara, Geek Camps use our responsivity to the whenua,  Kaitiakitanga as the canvas for engaging local Tamariki in projects restoring the mauri of local parks, Moana and Awa with a vision of re-establishing pride and reconnection of the community to the land.

Te Rito Poipoia supports Ōtara job seekers to gain skills they need to prepare for, gain and stay in employment with the focus centered on: Digital skills, Social Media, Pre-employment skills: CV and Cover Letter Writing, and Literacy and Numeracy, and Mentoring and Post-Placement Support.
