Community Networks Wanaka is your local resource hub for social wellbeing services. We aim to inform people of and connect them with available support services and coordinate community support services.
Services we provide or assist with access to include:
- Welfare (including foodbank, budgeting, social workers)
- Counselling and access to counselling funding
- Social services (including senior services, Total Mobility scheme)
- Local community services (including JP, transport to hospitals, Community Law and Meals on Wheels)
- Government agencies (including IRD visits, WINZ assistance, Immigration NZ and passport forms)

Electronic cards for the Total Mobility scheme are available from Community Networks.
Transport
We can arrange bookings with:
- Wheels to Dunstan (free car service to and from Dunstan & Dunedin Hospitals and the Alexandra Eye Clinic)
- St Johns shuttle to/from Dunedin Hospital
