Description
CAYAD work is informed by evidence including local, cultural and academic knowledge and includes a major focus on developing and mobilizing local capacity, capability and leadership to better utilize existing resources to reduce drug related harm.
Services aim to:
- Help reduce harm to young people and their whānau from illicit drugs and alcohol
- Help support communities to find innovative and inspiring ways to make a difference for young people and their whānau
- Help create community based change towards specific social and environmental policy objectives
- Help increase local capacity to support young people in education, employment and recreation
- Help reduce the supply of alcohol and other drugs to young people
- Help inform and develop resources to reduce drug and alcohol related harm
