TOA Pacific Incorporated Society is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the rights, safety and wellbeing of ‘Treasured Older Adults’, Aiga carers and Pacific families by providing sustainable, responsive and culturally safe services.

TOA Pacific caters for the needs of Pacific older people, whether they have a disability or not, as well as the needs of their families and their carers. This includes providing support for families where there is violence to work towards valuing each other with respect and understanding.  The safety and wellbeing of children is a primary focus.

Services include:

  • "Empower to Pamper" (ETP) Programme - designed to prevent the occurrence of neglect and abuse of Pacific older people
  • Time Out - promotes healthy eating and exercising of the mind and body
  • Asiasiga -  a home visitation for those who are bedridden or unable to leave their homes.
  • Maama - groups that encourage Pacific older people and their aiga carers to connect, share and be active.
  • Family Centred Service - a service that responds to instances of violence in families. 
  • Digital Literacy - an opportunity for older people or aiga/family carers to stay connected and informed via the use of digital devices.
  • Aiga Leadership - a special programme for victims of violence and the aggressors also.

We use strengths based practice and RBA tools to support families where there is violence to work towards valuing each other with respect and understanding. Family Carers

Our family carers will visit and support the home carer in their home. We also provide support groups and provide a day respite programme.
