Mole Mapping

We use the latest technology, including manual and digital dermoscopy (molemapping cameras), to diagnose any changes in moles and other skin lesions that could be indicative of skin cancer. Any concerning moles or lesions can be identified on the spot and recommended treatment advised. Moles or lesions that the doctor would like to see in greater detail are imaged using a specialised mole mapping camera. Photos taken are enlarged (around 30x) onto an HDTV screen and the doctor will discuss the images and their feedback with you. The advanced DermEngine digital technology we use provides an excellent baseline for future comparison and monitoring of your moles, as all images are securely stored and can be referred to at future checks. The doctor can also answer any questions you may have about your skin and sun protection during your check.
