Years of practice: 18 years.

Philosophy of care: the practice philosophy is that pregnancy and child birth are normal and natural life events. We encourage women to be proactive in strengthening and maintaining their own health and self care during pregnancy with individualised support and education. I am happy to attend women who wish to birth at home, hospital (North Shore), and offer water births if desired. I support the women using complementary therapies. Should complications arise during pregnancy, labour, birth or in the postnatal period I will continue to work alongside other health professionals to ensure safe appropriate care. Our practice offers professional, holistic, woman-centered and family friendly care.

General Bio: I am a midwife who has worked on the North Shore and Rodney Coast as well as a long period in the Far North. I have recently joined with a group of like minded midwives who provide safe care ongoing care to the women in our practice.
