Ambury Park Centre - Riding Therapy

Community Health Service

Description

Ambury Park Centre is a horse riding centre for children, adolescents and adults with physical, emotional, psychological and intellectual disabilities.

We offer a range of services including riding therapy, a secondary school and a vocational training programme. The Centre has 27-28 horses that are integral in all of the programmes, as the tool that effects development and change.

Ambury Park Centre has developed programmes that include physiological and psychological therapies and educational, work training and social development. These are run from our beautiful park grounds, with our large indoor arena and our school for students aged 13 upwards and a full-time vocational training programme for adults 18 and over.
