Our strategies include improving the outcomes for persons with melanoma, and to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma in New Zealand. •  Community site visits via the Melanoma New Zealand spot check van where a dedicated Nurse Educator offers free skin cancer spot checks and education about the importance of early detection and prevention of melanoma.
